Okay, beaches. That´s something you won´t find Berlin.
There are a lot of beachbars with artificial made beaches. The ones along the river Spree are my favorites. And I love my strandbar here in Potsdam to have my coffee as you allready have seen in some of my posts.
But for the real beaches we have to go up north, to the Ostsee. Last year we visited the island Rügen. We went there late in the summerseason and had the beach almost to ourselves. We always love to look for some beachfinds and this time we hoped to find some amber. But helas....

Verwen dag voor mij vandaag, allemaal mooie strand foto's met de Corner view , de strandstoelen zijn heel erg mooi, zucht het strand een plaats die nooit verveeld, en waar ik nu best even zou willen zijn.

Wij waren vorige zomer ook aan de Ostsee, heel mooi en rustig. Die strandbars lijken me echt SUPER!!! Als we deze zomer mijn broer komen bezoeken wil ik er ook eens heen...

I was surprised to see how pretty the beachbar was. Beach themed bars here tend to be a bit garish.

I would probably have to say that I much prefer the Ostsee to the Nordsee... it has more sand, or at least sand you can strech a beach towel and lounge in your bathing suit. All in all I still say that the beaches in the U.S. are not that cold (although my husband disagrees with me) We went to Rügen about three years ago and I have been waiting to go back, but we first need the weather to cooperate... we'll cross our fingers for this year.
